Belfast Best Value for UK Tourism, Says New Tripadvisor Survey
A NEW survey shows that Belfast is the best value UK city for tourists.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel review site, reveals that Belfast tops the UK best value list followed by Liverpool, Cardiff and Glasgow.
London was the third most expensive location among the forty-nine cities in the index.
TripAdvisor’s cost comparison index was based on the price of a pizza, a dry martini, a taxi ride and one night's accommodation in a four-star hotel.
The cost in Belfast was £106.54, after which came Liverpool at £115.62, Cardiff at £123.06 and Glasgow at £131.40.
London’s cost was £231.95, with only Zurich (£235) and Paris (£267) being more expensive.
TripAdvisor's Emma O'Boyle said: "Cost, and in particular value for money, is one of the most important considerations for travelers.
"This index allows travelers to make an educated decision as to whether a destination is right for them."
